Celebrate Ageing Well in Bexley this October

There’s a fantastic free community event coming to Bexley this October, bringing together local services, activities, entertainment and opportunities to connect.

The Ageing Well Event 2026 takes place on Saturday 3rd October from 10:30am to 2pm at Bexley Civic Offices, DA6 7AT, and everyone is welcome to come along.

Discover what’s on your doorstep

Ageing well is about much more than staying active. It’s also about feeling connected, discovering new interests and knowing what support and opportunities are available locally.

The Ageing Well Event is a chance to find out more about the organisations, services and activities available across Bexley, all in one friendly and welcoming place.

Visitors can browse a marketplace of local support and activities, chat with organisations and discover opportunities they may not have known were right on their doorstep.

Activities, entertainment and plenty to try

It won’t just be about picking up information. There’ll be lots happening throughout the day, including music and performances, workshops and taster fitness classes.

Whether you’re keen to try something new, looking for local support, interested in becoming more active or simply fancy popping in for a cup of tea and a chat, you’ll be very welcome.

Best of all, the event is completely free to attend, so why not bring a friend or family member along too?
