The Edward Alderton Theatre presents Henrik Ibsen’s classic drama Ghosts

Curtain up on a classic with a twist…

Get ready for drama, secrets, and timeless intrigue at the Edward Alderton Theatre in Bexleyheath as they present Ghosts - Henrik Ibsen’s powerful masterpiece, freshly adapted for modern audiences!

Ghosts runs from 7th-14th February (no performance Sunday), starting at 8pm.

Tickets cost £14 (£12 for EAT members) and are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/edwardalderton

The play is about a rich widow, Helene Alving, who is trying to make amends for the behaviour of her late husband, a man who hid his true cruelty and immorality behind an outwardly charming personality.

Considered scandalous when it was first published in the late 19th Century, Ghosts explores themes that are very relevant today, showing what happens when skeletons start to tumble out of the closet.

It’s about family secrets, moral dilemmas and its language feels fresh and accessible to modern audiences.

The Edward Alderton Theatre is located at 5 Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, situated behind The Learning & Enterprise College and next to the Crook Log Leisure Centre, serving the local amateur theatre community.
