Bexleyheath Goes Country
Bexleyheath Town Centre was transformed into a lively western celebration on Saturday 27th June, as Bexleyheath Goes Country brought music, entertainment and family fun to the heart of the town.
Throughout the day, visitors gathered around the Clocktower on Broadway to enjoy a free day of country-themed activities. The event created a vibrant atmosphere, with families, friends and visitors embracing the western spirit and making the most of everything on offer.
Live music kept the crowd entertained throughout the day, while line dancing performances encouraged visitors to join in and learn a few new moves. One of the biggest attractions was the ever-popular bucking bull, where brave participants tested their balance and provided plenty of laughs for spectators.
Alongside the entertainment, visitors enjoyed a fantastic selection of delicious street food and explored a variety of summer stalls, offering unique products, gifts and treats from local traders.
It was wonderful to see so many people supporting the town centre and spending time with friends and family while enjoying everything the event had to offer. The sunshine, community spirit and western-themed fun made for a memorable day that was enjoyed by visitors of all ages.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, our performers, stallholders and partners who helped make the event such a success. Your support continues to make Bexleyheath Town Centre a vibrant destination for community events and local shopping.
If you couldn't make it this time, don't worry, there are plenty more exciting events planned throughout the year. Be sure to keep an eye on our social media pages and website for the latest updates, upcoming events and opportunities to enjoy everything Bexleyheath has to offer.
