Join Us for the Launch of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Bexleyheath

Bexleyheath Town Centre will proudly host the launch of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal on Saturday 24th October, in partnership with The Royal British Legion – Bexleyheath and Welling Branch.

Taking place by the Clock Tower from 10:00am to 4:00pm, this special community event will bring people together to mark the beginning of this year's Poppy Appeal and honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community.

Visitors can enjoy a day filled with family-friendly activities, community stalls and live music, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all ages while supporting an important national cause.

Throughout the day, there will also be the opportunity to meet The Burma Boys Living History Group, whose authentic displays and historical insights will offer a fascinating glimpse into Britain's military history. Their living history exhibits provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the experiences of those who served and the importance of remembrance.
